It has almost been two years since we started this blog, and just over two years since we stumbled upon the Landcom office, enquired about land, scoped out builders and underwent this adventure of building our first home. Along the way, we’ve been fortunate to have made some great friends and to share this experience with you. With everything complete, we decided to finish off the blog with a nostalgic recap of the build.
Our Cherry Surprise Lillypilly has given us some nice little surprises indeed…
Since things have gone so well with the plants, we thought we would be a little more adventurous and start a herb garden.
Above is 1/3 of our herb garden; it’s the Hills self-watering wall garden. In order from left to right, top to bottom, we have: sweet basil, mint, coriander, spring onion, oregano, thai chilli, jalapeno, habanero, dill, rosemary, rosemary (tuscan blue), and parsley. It has been over a week and these little dudes are still alive so thumbs up for us! Next gig? Growing tomatoes!!!
